About us

Welcome to Carpet Giant, based in Waverley Road, Yate, just north of Bristol.  The name Carpet Giant is no accident: our customers say ours is the biggest carpet superstore they’ve ever seen. We have the largest selection of flooring and carpets in the southwest, as you’ll find when you come to see us.

Carpet Giant is independently owned and managed and we’ve over 25 years’ experience in the carpeting and flooring trade. We can answer all your questions and advise on what’s most suitable for your family and your home. We also provide flooring for schools, offices, nursing homes, letting agency properties – even castles!

We know how important it is for you to see and feel the quality of the carpets and flooring before committing to buying. Our warehouse is 20,000 square metres – which is large enough that you could happily spend several hours browsing.

History

Carpet Giant has been providing a top class service throughout the South West for over thirty years. In 2008, Bill, Steve and Colin, the experienced staff from our Stroud shop, CARPETMAN joined the Carpet Giant team in our Yate store. They had built a loyal customer base in the Stonehouse, Stroud and Quedgeley areas, earning an excellent reputation for good value and service. We continue to provide the free, no-obligation CARPETMAN Home Selection Service to all our customers.
